Boston, MA – This year during April School Vacation Week (April 17 – 23), Revolutionary Spaces is proudly partnering with the Highland Street Foundation to offer free admission to all visitors on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Each guest will have access to both Revolutionary Spaces museums – the Old South Meeting House and the Old State House – at no cost.

In addition to free admission to Revolutionary Spaces, there will be reduced rates for the Massacre & Memory tour on April 19. The Massacre & Memory Tour is a guided walking tour that explores the surprisingly small geography of colonial Boston and its central civic buildings—the Old State House, the Old South Meeting House, and Faneuil Hall—to uncover the lasting legacy of the conflict that escalated into a deadly riot, leaving five dead and a country changed. This tour will also run every day during April School Vacation Week at 1:30 p.m., leaving from the Old State House. Tickets may be purchased online or at the admissions desk. Each tour is limited to 20 people and includes admission to both sites.

“Our goal at Revolutionary Spaces is to share history with our visitors in a way that challenges the past, while offering a way to explore a future that we all will be able to thrive in,” said Nat Sheidley, President & CEO of Revolutionary Spaces. “This opportunity allows us to share that experience with even more people. We are so thankful for the Highland Street Foundation and are looking forward to opening our doors to everyone at no cost to them during this year’s vacation week.”

Both the Old South Meeting House and the Old State House at Revolutionary Spaces are open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
