This was a Members Event held on November 10 at the Old South Meeting House.
Revolutionary Spaces is delighted to invite our Members and friends to a special game night on Thursday, November 10, at 5:30 pm. Join us as we explore a key moment in American history through a unique, interactive game. Doors open at 5:30 for a reception, including drinks and light refreshments, and the game begins at 6:00!
In Revolution is Brewing, guests take on the roles of British subjects across the political spectrum. Engage in a series of debates & negotiations and then vote on the outcomes of a “Boston Town Meeting,” just like the one that took place on December 16, 1773 in the Old South Meeting House, leading to the Boston Tea Party.
Developed in partnership with the award-winning education game designers Gigantic Mechanic and an advisory committee of high school history and social studies teachers, Revolution is Brewing is changing the way we experience public history in Boston. We’re excited for you to see this revolutionary new program in action.
